Ayush Kumar, Ph.D. is a Cyber Security Scientist at ST Engineering, specializing in IoT/IIoT security. With over 7 years of relevant experience, Ayush has worked on several research projects related to cyber security. He was previously a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the ST Engineering-Singapore University of Technology and Design Cyber Security Laboratory, where he worked on the Predicting Adversarial Behaviors and the Motivation for Automated Network Defense project. As part of an interdisciplinary team, he profiled cyber attackers and their motivations from a social/behavioral perspective, built experimental testbeds with vulnerabilities to collect data about hacker behavior, and developed deep learning algorithms using graph embedding for anomaly detection towards cyber-attack identification in enterprise networks. Ayush has also worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, where he is currently pursuing his Ph.D. He has previously worked as a Software Engineer II at Brocade Communications Pvt. Ltd. and as a Project Associate at the Multimedia Wireless Networks Lab at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur. Ayush holds a Ph.D. in Cyber Security and Privacy from the National University of Singapore, where he conducted research on the security of cyber-physical systems. He also holds a Master's degree in Signal Processing, Communications, and Networks from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, and a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication from Delhi College of Engineering. Ayush's technical skills include research in Cyber Security, Deep Learning, and Cryptography. He is a highly motivated and dedicated professional with a passion for finding innovative solutions to complex problems.
